Tuesday August 28
We begin our experience traveling to Boise where we attend the
Boise Temple.
Wednesday August 29
Our journey takes us to the Columbia River Temple today. This
evening we stay in Yakima, as we prepare for a busy day tomorrow.
Thursday August 30
Today will be a fun experience. We begin by traveling to Bellevue
where we attend a session at the Seattle Temple. After our session,
we allow a short time for lunch and to take pictures before checking
into our hotel. This afternoon we board to cross over to Blake
Island where we visit Tillicum Village. Tillicum Village features
fresh salmon cooked on cedar stakes around an alder fire in the
traditional Native American style
Friday August 31
This morning we travel to Portland where we enjoy a fabulous lunch
cruise. We came here on our first trip in 1998, and those who
attended still rave about their experience on the Portland Spirit.
This afternoon we enjoy a session at the beautiful Portland Temple.
We then check into our Lake Oswego hotel for a two night stay.
Saturday Sept 1
Today we enjoy a trip to the Northern Oregon coast. We visit Tillamook
where you will want to enjoy some tasty cheese at the factory
and get your fill of ice cream. We also take the Three Capes scenic
loop where you will see the Cape Meares Lighthouse, along with
other stops along the way.
Sunday Sept 2
We attend a local Sacrament meeting this morning before checking
out of our hotel. As we leave the Portland area we will stop at
Multnoma Falls. We then travel along the Columbia Gorge, making
our way back to Boise for the evening.
Monday Sept 3
We return to our homes this evening
$795 per person, double occupancy
$750 per person, triple $725 per person quad. $1050 single
Price includes bus, hotels, average of 2 meals per day, Portland
lunch cruise and our trip to Blake Island..
